Hi,
In CubeMx V6.6.1 - Windows 11 i am having the 2 following issues.
Until this point all goes ok and the toolchain files are correctly generated in the toolchain folder.
But if i close CubeMx project and reopen it again the toolchain location is lost.
I looked inside the project.ioc file and it is correctly stored there.
It seems like this might be a bug.
Thanks
Paulo

Hello @paulojfonseca
First let me thank you for posting.
I tried to reproduce the same behavior you encountered but it works fine from my side.
Please take a look
I choose the Makefile as a Toolchain /IDE
Then i changed the Project Location
Finally, i generated the code
Thx

Hi Ghofrane,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Can you now close CubeMx and reopen the project again?
This way you will reproduce the issues i mentioned.
Thanks
Paulo

Hi Ghofrane,
Looks like was not clear in the steps for reproduction.
Let me try and do it again with images:
1 Open CubeMx and create a new project (used Nucleo Board, but also experienced the same with MCU selection)
2 Go to project management and choose: Project Name, Project Folder, Toolchain Folder and Makefile Toolchain IDE
3 Generate Code (until here all goes ok according the instructions)
4 Close CubeMx
5 Reopen CubeMx with the previously created project.
6 Go to Project Management. Now you can experience the problems i am facing.
Bug 1 - The previously Toolchain folder is gone.
Bug 2 - I cannot re-type it again because the text box is not enabled.
Bug 1 i cannot overcome.
Bug 2 i can if i select Toolchain EWARM, change the toolchain folder, select Makefile again
Hope that you can now reproduce it.
Thanks
Paulo
