Hello everyone,
I've just updated cubeIDE from V1.14.x to V1.15.1 and duration of build process on the same project increased by around 4x.
With V1.14 it took around ~10s, now with V1.15.1 takes ~40s to build the same project on the same machine.
Is that a known issue? How can I mitigate that?
Thank for your help!

Hi Souhaib,
unfortunatelly not, because it contains propriatery code.
What do you recommend for me? Should I downgrade to V1.14 version?
Are there any general tricks to speed up the build process?
Thank you!

I've downgraded to V1.14.1 and it compiles in less than 10 sec. Seems to be some specific problem with my PC setup and Cube V1.15
Additional info about the PC I'm using:
OS Version: 10.0.19045 N/A Build 19045
OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
OS Configuration: Member Workstation
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: OptiPlex 5060
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor(s): 1 Processor(s) Installed.

BIOS Version: Dell Inc. 1.29.0, 29. 02. 2024

It gets worse on STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.0. What took ~10sec on V1.14.1 to compile the complete project, now on V1.16.0 takes 1m 28sec. That is over 8x longer.
I'll prepare some mockup application that I can share with you in order to get to the bottom of that problem.
In the meanwhile, can you point out some thing to check? Did you maybe take some time to investigate?
