Issue with Dark Theme on STM32CubeIDE

My Cubeide version 1.18.1 have the exactly same issue. I installed the Darkest Dark Theme from the store but the issue persist.

The problem started for me after I update my Windows 11 to the 24H2 version.

In the same machine I have also installed the Eclipse IDE version 2025-03 and the MCUXPresso IDE (which is also based on eclipse) version 24.12,
Both with the same Darkest Dark theme installed and both are normal, without this white scollbar problem. It seems obvious to me that the problem is only in Cubeide.

Another detail is that the problem is only in the editor window scrollbars, all other windows are ok (see attached photo).

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Darkest Dark theme, but the problem still persist. If anyone knows what this problem is about, it will be of great help.

Edit: Moved from Issue with Scrollbar Color in Dark Theme on STM32CubeIDE to a new thread

Hi guys,

So, after all this time I received a response that seems definitive from the support staff from STMicroelectronics and would like to share with you.

It seems very strange to me that the IDE developer can't even spend any resolution tips. They tried to blame the "Darkest Dark" extension as causing the problem. I uninstalled everything and reinstated the IDE without any extension and showed them that it was not the case, as you can see in the image below.

Well what I have done so far was to install back version 1.14 (which I used and knew it worked ok). After installed the IDE also came with the problem, but after I installed in this version the "Darkest Dark" extension the problem was solved, all scroll bars are in the Dark theme correctly.

But then I ask, I'll have to stay in this version forever now or should I stop using Cubeide?! I don't know what to do.
