Information Center tab not displaying documentation

Hi,

I recently downloaded and installed en.st-stm32cubeide_1.17.0_23558_20241125_2245_amd64.sh.zip onto Debian Bookworm (fully updated). This proceeded without any errors or warnings.

On starting the IDE, a blank (i.e. black window) was presented, within the Information Center tab, that did not list any documentation. When I used a previous version of the IDE, this tab then showed links to various documents. Has this functionality been left out of the current version of the IDE ?

What do I now have to do in order to get the Information Center tab in the IDE to now show the links to the documentation ?

i have also installed stm32cubeide_1.17.0 on my (Debian)  MxLinux .

Is your web connection ok ? check in preferences ->

Hi AScha.3,

Thank you for such a swift reply. This afternoon, when I sent in my posting, I was using my local library's internet connection. (The library closed at 5:00 p.m. GMT). Now that I have returned home, I am using my home internet connection. In both cases, when I start the IDE (which I have just done now), the IDE opens with a black Information Center tab. Please see first attached screenshot. The second attached screenshot shows System Settings and that my internet connection is working.

ok.

And you checked in IDE : your web connection setting in IDE - ok ? check in preferences ->

If your Information Center tab is not showing documentation, try these fixes:

  1. Check if the documentation exists – Make sure the file or page is uploaded.
  2. Fix broken links – Ensure the link to your documentation is correct.
  3. Check JavaScript issues – If it loads dynamically, inspect for errors (press F12 > Console).
  4. CMS or plugin problems – If using WordPress or another platform, check settings or plugins.
  5. Clear cache – Refresh the page with Ctrl + Shift + R or open in incognito mode.

A various website like official centre of Movies are available in which information tab got stuck and casue errors
