egit does not authorize my password even if credentials are OK.

Hi All,

I have downloaded egit plugin. When I tried to push my local repo to remote repo, I come across with login dialogbox, when I enter my username and password, it doesnt authorize me. I use the same password and user name on web browser which works just fine.

Could you please help me with this ?

Github no longer allows applications to access repositories with the website credentials. Instead you have to create special keys per app. For details see the help section of the github site.
