For smartwatches use case the STM32U5 family is the most suitable as an ultra-low power MCU combined with advances graphic capabilities (STM32U599 and STM32U5G9) and a large internal FLASH and RAM that avoid the use of external memory, thus reducing BOM cost and PCB size, see: https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32u599-5a9.html
