We are using ST32MP153 running mainline linux on the A7 cores. And we want to use the M4 for realtime processing and output. Therefore some resources shall be used by Linux at the A7 cores. Some by the M4. If we get it right, ST's solution for that is the resource manager https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Resource_manager_for_coprocessing. But this driver is not available at kernel.org. What's the reason for that? Is it planned to add it? And what are the alternatives for mainline linux?

Hello @Wechmarer ,
Kernel maintainers gave a NO GO to upstream this driver for reasons that are their, that is why the driver is not in the mainline kernel.
Internally it has been decided to not push to upstream it so. We have no plan to change it for now.
Kind regards,
Erwan.
