Is the SD Card required for the STM32MP257F-EV1

Hello,

I am working on bringing up the STM32MP257F-EV1 Development board and have a question. I was wondering if the SD card is actually required or if it and the EMMC are completely interchangeable and the whole board can work off completely off the EMMC.

Hello @Carson ,
The evaluation board is made to demonstrate different features, such as booting from different flash memory. So yes you can completely ignore the SD card if you want to boot from eMMC.
