Can't do OTA updates again after modifying a non-OTA project into an OTA project?

After performing an OTA update, the Bluetooth icon appears as shown in Figure 1, but it does not display the "STM_OTA" name. The correct result should look like Figure 2.

I followed the modification steps from this video, including adding the OTA Reboot Characteristic as shown:

The chip I’m using is STM32WB55CGU6, with FUS version v2.0, and ST BLE Toolbox version 1.4.4.

Is this the same question:

https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/why-does-the-update-fail-after-i-modified-a-non-ota-project-into/td-p/809845

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

This is not the same issue. This is a new problem. Currently, OTA updates can be successful, but it can only be updated once and cannot be updated again.

So is the previous one now resolved?

If so, please mark the solution in that thread.

The previous issue has been resolved, but how should this new problem be addressed?

Hello,

please read this document carefully.

Over-the-air application and wireless firmware update for STM32WB series microcontrollers - Application note

Also, I recommend having a look at BLE_HeartRate_ota example which can be helpful as a reference project.

Best regards,
