Hi all. I was just wondering about TFTs. I have used a 3.2'' TFT on my Arduino before and have seen much use of TFTs on the STM32f4 discovery... The TFT I have in question is a 3.2'' with an SD card slot in the back. Like this one:
I am wondering if anybody has used this particular type.. I believe it uses an SSD1289 controller but has different physical connections than other tfts I have seen being used ( like the mikromedia boards for example...)If anybody has, I would be interested to know.( It is purely for educational purposes ATM.)Thankyou.Steve. #stm32f4-tft-ssd1289 #tft #stm32f4-discovery2012-11-16 01:56 PM

And will try connecting then. Will let you know how I get on.( I would like, to start with, to build a simple MIDI controller with a TFT GUI.)( I can just about make out the peak of this learning curve in some very hazy, smoky distance...)2012-11-17 09:00 AM
I know this one Clive. I've actually got the TFT connected ...
I posted for the benefit of others, as the eBay link didn't have the technical detail required. Should probably connect via the FSMC.2012-11-17 05:57 PM
''Should probably connect via the FSMC. ''
What is the FSMC? ( REM I am a beginner )
