Hi,
I want to evaluate using STemWin in a new project but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use STM32CubeMX to generate code with STemWin. From what I understand it wasn't included but now it is. The download page says it's now included. I see the libraries in the Middleware folder but no way to enable it in a project.Am I missing something or do I need to import it afterwards in the IDE?One side question. I was going to use the STM32F411RE would it be worth upgrading to STM32F429? I can't seem to find the difference with the 429 vs 439 either.Thanks. #stemwin #stm32cube2016-02-01 07:10 AM
Hi MobileWill,
1-''The download page says it's now included.'' which page?2-What do you need exactly as feature to help you to select the suitable MCU?-Syrine-2016-02-01 08:48 AM

Hi MobileWill,
But on this page there no indication that we can generate MX project including STemWIN library. You have to do it manually. Please refer to this [DEAD LINK /public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/STemWin%20and%20STM32CubeMX%20project%20integration¤tviews=934]post you find an official response from our MX team about STemWin and STM32CubeMX integration. You can find some working example with STM32F429 device under the STM32F4 cube firmware package: STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.10.0\Projects\STM324x9I_EVAL\Applications\STemWin -Syrine-2016-02-01 09:23 AM
Thanks you I will give that a try. Are there plans to add it into the Cube generation?
I also found the UI builder is buggy. Can't add the Menu element without it crashing.
