How to define the Limitation of hardware for TouchGFX HMI ?

Hi ,

I want to use the TouchGFX framework for HMI development but I have few queries about it which are as below:

1) Which controller do you recommend for 7" display with ~200 screens ?

2) How can find the limitation of my setup ?

3) How the number of screens will impact on Performance ?

4) How will it impact if the HMI runs continuously for 30days ? will it fill all the memory?

5) What are the limitations of TouchGFX ?

Hi,

1) No recommendations. It depends on too many things.

2) Limitations in terms of? Performance? storage for assets? etc?

3) Number of screens will not impact performance, only flash requirements.

4) No impact, unless you somehow have to define large task stack sizes because of complex application logic.

5) There are no limitations! Or, well, rather ... if you tell me what you need to do, i can tell you if you can do it or not 🙂
