Hello, I have just installed both V4.10.0 & V4.12.3 of touchGFX, to try and get either of them to work.
I cannot get either version to run a simulation or generate code from first use of the software, and am just setting a simple coloured box and circle on 1 screen to test the software at this point.
Have uninstalled and re-installed both. Same problem.
I have tried using a PC Simulator application template and STM32F750 Discovery application template, still same problem.
I have also tried editing the .touchgfx file PostGenerateCommand line to "PostGenerateCommand": "echo post generate", as suggested in other forum posts.
Nothing is working so far.
The error I get when pressing simulate is:
Run simulator
Generate
Done
Generate assets
make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8
The system cannot find the path specified
Failed
Failed
Please can someone help point me in the right direction?
Many thanks!

OK I have scoured the internet trying to find a resolution, but have not found it yet.
I have also tried adding various paths to the windows environment variable and still cannot clear this error.
Maybe there is a simple fix that I am unaware of (and if anyone could help shed some light on this it would be very appreciated !), but until then unfortunately the software is completely unusable to me.
I shall uninstall and try again with a future release.
