What crystal should I use for LSE? Plenty of options

Aldo_Flores_Aguayo

Hi, I'm looking for LSE crystal and I alredy know there are prodcut recommendations tables in the AN2867 document,  for the LSE crystal, so I'm looking a crystal for my STM32L4P5RGT6 MCU, there is many crystals that are compatible with my MCU family (STM32L4P+), so what criteria should I use tho choose a product in specific?

There is different C0, CL, ESR, gmcrit for different crystals what to look at when when choosing?

This is the table I'm referring to

Thanks for your time.

Just pick one from the list and move on. Plenty of more important things to focus on.

If you want to get into the weeds, you can do so here:

Guidelines for oscillator design on STM8AF/AL/S and STM32 MCUs/MPUs - Application note

Things like package, price and availability are also important.

Thanks.

It´s because I dont know how much this impact in the design as for the LSE has different gm crit max values based on the drive capability in the MCU datasheet

so the procedure is different when choosing a crystal for HSE as the HSE just gives you one gm crit max value in the MCU datasheet (I´m new to all this) just tried to get all the fundamental components to get my MCU up and running.

It would be great if you give me some hints about this " plenty of more important things to focus on"
