Hello, i want to use the FM+ mode on a STM32L412 GPIO pin to reduce Vol max for a given pin sink current of 8mA. MCU VDD is 2.5V. I'm well aware of the max current capabilities of any pin and will not violate any.
In this forum i read:
For all I2C2 pins fast mode plus driving capability can be enabled only by using I2C_FASTMODEPLUS_I2C2 parameter.
My question is:
Once set to FM+, can the corresponding pin then be used as a normal open drain output pin (with the intended reduced Vol max for the given sink current)? Or must the pin then be used in combination with the alternate function of the I2C (SDA or SCL)?
