Hello,
my problem should be simple to solve, but due to it's rather undocumented nature I resort on posting it to this forum. When plugging in the STM32F429 board into a pc, it gets detected as flashdrive with around 2 MB space and two files on it (MBED.HTM and DETAILS.TXT). I want to avoid that.Especially because that ''opening folder'' sequence is directly linked to the bootup sequence. That means, if I power the STM32F429 by battery or usb-charger, it's not booting until the folder can open up.I couldn't find any documentation on that issue. It only appears on the new STM32F429 Disco boards. Please Help!

Download the most current ST-LINK Utilities and update the firmware.

Or use the other USB connector that goes to the F429
