[SOLVED] STMStudio doesn't work after update to windows 10

Hi,

Before I update my windows 8.1 to 10, STMStudio worked. After update and installation java 64bit it doesn't start. I have tried reinstall STMStudio, uninstall and install java but it still doesn't work. Other java aplications like eclipse or CubeMX work fine.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Could you precise version of both STMStudio and Java?

Hello,

the current version of STMStudio requires the java 32 bits version to be installed, and does not work with the 64 bits version. Note also that with java-1.8 the shortcuts for the STMStudio are badly computed by the installer; the path to javaw.exe should be manually modified afterwards in order to point to the real location on disk of javaw.exe.

Those issues will be fixed in a next version planned for Q1-2016.

Thanks a lot SC. I have changed path to javaw.exe and STMStudio works.
