Read Out Protection is Activated

hello

Working on

Discovery Board, it was working fine but now whenever i erase or try to upload a code it say 'Read Protection is Activated', 

So how to remove this.

After searching online tried this target->option bytes-> it shows level protection 1, made it 0 and clicked apply but gives an error 'Could not set Option Bytes Please reset the target and retry'.

Also tried boot0 to 3v and then erasing but it also doesn't work

Any idea how to get it out of read mode or wasy to reset it.

Think you are probably out of luck, and will need to replace the chip or board.

What were you doing when the failure first occurred?
