Peripheral view while debugging

While working through the projects in the STM32F4Discovery Keil examples, the peripherals aren't available for view like they are when creating a standalone project. I can add a watch point for SPI2[as an example] and I can view the registers that way, but even that isn't always consistent[sometimes the watch point says the entry is out of scope] like I've come to expect when viewing the peripherals within Keil...my guess is I'm missing a system file that maps the peripherals to their respective locations...any input would be much appreciated.

Yes, Keil changed how uVision displays peripherals, I liked the older interface, but it can do invasive things with the status/data registers.

You could ping your support contact at Keil, their forum is a customer one like this one at ST.
