on Board STM32H747XIH6 Debugger Solution

Samudra
Associate

Dear Sir,

We are using the STM32H747 series microcontroller in one of our custom projects.

Could you please recommend a low-cost on-board debugger suitable for this board? Ideally, the debugger should also be compact in size.

Your assistance on this matter is urgently needed and greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Samudralankaiah

Hello @Samudra and welcome to the ST Community.

I suggest you to have a look at the Hw debugger and programmer tools for STM32 products and try to find the suitable debugger solution for you. Personally, I recommend one of the ST-Link V3 or V2 families (genuine products).

Best Regards.

Use an ST-Link/V3MINIE and put a standard 14-pin header (Samtec FTSH-107-01-L-DV-K) on your board as the interface.

STLINK-V3MINIE - STLINK-V3 compact in-circuit debugger and programmer for STM32 - STMicroelectronics

Is it possible to get the schematics of the STLINK-V3MINI board to check this? Could you please provide them?

The user manual shows the connector pinout. The schematics are not published.

More importantly, the firmware is not provided.

Perhaps use a Tag-Connect footprint to easily attach an external debug pod.

If you've got a budget to buy IP, perhaps look a Segger J-LINK OB for on-board implementation.  Or CMSIS-DAP
