New, SMALLER Xtals for STM32...

To save even more space, I've been considering using Murata Ceramic resonators (Model CSTCE_G...). It's 3.2mm by 1.3mm and has built-in load capacitors. The only downside I can see is that they are not as accurate as a crystal, but that's not a problem in my application.

Has anyone tried these with the STM32?

thanks,

Greg

Many have sought physically smaller 8MHz Crystals. I report/identify two devices below: a) 6x3mm and b) 5x3.2mm. Both are fundamental, smt.

Both currently stock @ Digi-Key:

a) 535-9628-1

b) 644-1132-1

Hi Greg.

Yes, we have a prototype board which uses a CSTCE8M00G52A, with a 220R series resistor. So far, it appears to work fine - though we haven't done temperature or EMC tests yet.
