I want to know the device category for STM32L452RE device. Whether it is cat.1/cat.2/cat.3/cat.4/cat.5 device? I could find the same for STM32L40 series devices,snapshot of which is attached here with.

STM32L40? You mean the L0 Cortex-M0 parts? The L4 parts are entirely different designs, and aren't categorized in the same way.

Perhaps pull the Reference Manual for the part, and see what die it is using? There are currently at least 5 L4 die, identifiable via the DEV_ID

The Data Sheet should also provide guidance on package and function demarcations.
