I like to know the status of STM32F030 product if this phasing out. Suppliers are turning down orders.

Welcome, @MAVIL.1, to the community!

A similar question has already been asked here several times.

Short and sweet: the STM32F030 is also part of the 10-year longevity program with rolling commitment. For more information, see here.

Wish you good luck!

I can't see that @Peter BENSCH 's reply will resolve the problem if it doesn't acknowledge the unavailability of parts right now, just like they were 7 months ago in the thread he linked to.

It is extremely frustrating. Having said that, ST seem to be no worse than any other semiconductor manufacturer.

Of course this doesn't solve the problem, but it confirms that the STM32s are not discontinued, nor will they be in the foreseeable future.

The supply situation has resulted from an extremely large number of worldwide factors that arrived almost simultaneously, Corona being just one of them. Just a few key words: fires in semiconductor plants of some manufacturers, power outages in California, extremely growing electromobility, "Ever Given" in the Suez Canal, etc etc.

But you can be assured that STMicroelectronics is working massively to improve the situation in many areas. Unfortunately, this cannot just be suddenly improved and completely resolved, because it requires many billions of dollars in investment and - very importantly - also takes several years until, for example, a new factory can produce chips. Even the manufacturers of production equipment are affected and now have very long delivery times, which does not exactly ease the situation.

It is often forgotten that the production of a semiconductor is extremely time-consuming and costly.

Anyway - isn't the community supposed to discuss technical difficulties and not delivery problems?

Regards

/Peter

@MAVIL.1  "Suppliers are turning down orders"

So what reason(s) are these suppliers giving for turning down orders?

As already noted, there are global supply-chain problems, and it's not just the semiconductor industry - let alone just ST - that's affected.
