I think the design files for the STM32F429I-DISCO are readily available. Ponder from whom you wish to protect your design, and what kind of talent and resources they have to overcome the hurdles you place in their way. Then ponder your own abilities on that same scale. Things you do to limit access by others will also impede your ability to test, program and update the device. Things like read-out protection will limit casual inspection, as will limiting access to critical pins.2014-12-26 07:30 PM

Do you mean that the chapter 23 Cryptographic processor (CRYP) in RM0090 is for that? Each board of STM32F429-iDisco have a unique number (ID), how to get this ID? Thanks again2015-01-25 05:33 AM
