How to configure multiple ADC channel with interrupt mode? STM32L0 SERIES

chai2145

Hi all,

I have two ADC channels (channel 1 and channel 3), and I configured them in multi-channel interrupt mode.

The cubeMx ADC settings is shown in image below:

Continuous Convertion mode : Enabled

End of Conversion Selection: End of single convertion

However, when the interrupt is triggered and I read both channel values, the readings are incorrect. Specifically, the value from channel 1 appears to be assigned to both variables, even though only channel 1 was triggered.

Does anyone know what happened? Could there be a misconfiguration in my ADC settings?

Thanks

If you run the code without breaking, what story do the printf statements tell?

It could be that the ADC is being overran because it isn't serviced frequently enough. Pausing in the debugger is sure to mess with things. Consider reading the OVR flag to see if this is happening. Otherwise things look correct.

For this reason, it is typically better to use DMA when converting multiple channels.

Hi TDK,

The values appear to be correct when printed over the serial interface!! Thank you.

Sorry to ask and don't know this phenomenon, we are not supposed to break into or debug the ISR because pausing in the debugger will mess things up? Then how do we debugging the ISR?
