My LCD controller embeds fonts that index by coding.
I'm using STemWin.I decide to ask here, cause I'm not a emWin commercial user. #!espn #emwin2014-11-17 05:38 AM
Hi,
We don't really have enough insight into what specifically you are doing, and how. Would you mind giving a little more information about your issue so we can better explain it to our developement team? Regards,Heisenberg.2014-11-17 05:33 PM
OK.
As we known, we usually use a LCD graphic controller to drive the displayer,TFT/STN etc.To display a char in emwin, we use its bitmap. So, emwin needs a font lib, inside or outside. Now, THIS ONE (graphic controller) has fonts embedded. And, it auto-displays a char's bitmap if I input it's unicode. This may free the MCU from writing font bitmaps, if I can use THIS with emwin.2014-11-18 10:47 AM
Ok, but WHAT controller are you using, perhaps you can cite a data sheet, or something?

Though I don't quite understand why you want more about the controller,
I attached as follow. RA8875 builds in a Serial Flash/ROM interface, supporting for protocol of 4-BUS (Normal Read), 5-BUS (FAST Read), Dual mode 0, Dual mode 1, Mode 0 and Mode 3.Serial Flash/ROM function can be used for FONT mode, DMA mode and Direct Access Mode. FONTmode means that the external serial Flash/ROM is treated as a source of FONT bitmap. To supportthe most useful FONT characters, RA8875 is compatible with the FONT ROM of professional FONTvendor—Genitop Inc. ________________ Attachments : RA8875_Datasheet_V19_EN.pdf : https://st--c.eu10.content.force.com/sfc/dist/version/download/?oid=00Db0000000YtG6&ids=0680X000006HzWI&d=%2Fa%2F0X0000000bN4%2FyvQdfusO67CQdqaKvuxdNOOfAG0Jaw8TFhChUY2nQtA&asPdf=false
