Control 2 MIPI-DSI AMOLED screens with STM32F769I-DISCO

Hello,

I'll like to know if it's possible to drive two MIPI-DSI screens (

LS029B3SX02 and

passing the same signal to both displays), with a STM32F769I-DISCO eval board.

The thing is that I need to be able to add an HDMI and a CVBS video input to pass it to the screens.

Thanks,

Carlos.

To see the exact same image on both displays, maybe, depends on the length of the two display cables.

To see different images ?

you could use the EN1PORT maybe to switch displays.

but usually the displays wont hold an image, so NO it wont show different images

Yeah same image in both displays, they will be about 5cm away from the control board.

The important thing is if this board is able to have two video inputs (HDMI and CVBS) to be passed to the screens.

This is something that I recommend to discuss with your local ST rep and FAEs. There might be solutions, but terminating a bidirectional 500 MHz signal in multiple places doesn't strike me as viable.

There might be hub/switch type DSI/HDMI implementations that provide support for multiple screens or output methodologies.

I don't think that the STM32 would be able to capture your CVBS signal nor the HDMI signal.
