Can the STM32 Power Shield (LPM01A) be triggered on AND off?

The X-NUCLEO-LPM01A Power Shield can be triggered by the target device to start acquisition, using the D7 pin. Can it also be triggered to stop acquisition?

Also, my power shield is currently running v1.0.1. The latest version of the firmware is 1.0.6, but there are no release notes about the updated firmware; so I'm not sure if this would make any difference.

Both the user manual and firmware manual say VERY little about the triggering behaviour.

Bueller?

Anyone had experience with triggering the X-NUCLEO-LPM01A Power Shield?
