We use the STUSB4500 in our design to negotiate with the Host the correct current. In our design we have no connection on the VBUS_VS_DISCH pin. Because of this issue, the PD-Chip does not start negotiation. Is there any way to disable the VBUS_VS_DISCH function in the NVM. For our design, the chip should start negotiation after power on (we are not using battery).
Thanks for your help.

Hello
VBUS_VS_DISCH has double functionality.
It first monitors VBUS from connector to ensure that it is within expected range (and thus to allow, or not, to close the power path)
Secondly it discharges VBUS path during falling transitions/Hardreset or detach.
So this pin, shall be connected, as required in the datasheet, to get stusb4500 functionality.
Best regards
