Hi
Pullup resistors required for device mode (actually for this mcu not required)
Pullups and pulldowns are internal in this MCU and handled automatically depending from the mode USB periph configured.
EMI and ESD protection recommended.

For USB FS downstream application, it's required to use a switch with over-current protection (indication to the user in case of a VBUS overload ) and esd protection (to be placed as close as possible to the USB connector).
For more details, you may refer to the application note AN4879 "USB hardware and PCB guidelines using STM32 MCUs". It provides hardware guidelines for PCB design.
