Board: STM32F746NG Discovery Board
I misinterpreted the Power Supply Jumper JP1 on the STM32F746NG Board. :\
I connected two jumpers on JP1. One that connects 5V_USB_ST_LINK to 5V and another on 5V_USB_HS and 5V.
USB-HS-OTG Functions stopped working after I did this.
I tried the following already (But it did not help):
USB Devices on USB-HS that were earlier detected, are not being detected anymore.
From the schematic, I do not see anything major that can go wrong. But I do not know if I burnt something:| Can I get it working again?
The schematics are in the attachments in this link: Arrow-STM32F746Discovery
:white_heavy_check_mark:? SOLUTION: :white_heavy_check_mark:?
The problem was that there was a soldering waste (Which was found out using a magnifying glass) that was stuck between the USB Data lines.
After removing the short, USB FS works as normal now.
Information to power up the USB FS over ST-LINK or through other power sources is explained in the STM32F746-DISCO Usermanual : https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/dm00190424-discovery-kit-for-stm32f7-series-with-stm32f746ng-mcu-stmicroelectronics.pdf (Section 4.4)
