Overcurrent Issue on Nucleo-H753ZI

Could you please help me with my Nucleo-H753ZI board power issue? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Earlier, the nucleo-h753zi board worked normally when I applied external power from a power supply at 9 volts.

When I applied power using a 9-volt battery, overcurrent occurred and the U12 component overheated. Could you please advise me on how to handle this situation?

Other than the power supply, nothing else was connected - only GND and the external power supply pin were connected. Even without external power, when I connect USB, the overcurrent LED still comes on.

I would be very grateful for your guidance on resolving this issue.

I think the board has probably crossed the point of no return.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
