Dear ST community member,

I am new to ST platform.

I am using STM32G030C8T6 Development board from 7 Semi and ST Link V2.

Connection: 

  • dev board USB: power
  • dev board RST: NSRT or pin15 of ST LINK V2
  • dev board SWDIO: pin 7 of ST LINK V2
  • dev board GND: pin8 of ST LINK V2
  • dev board SWDCLK: pin9 of ST LINK V2
  • dev board 3.3: Not connected

Please guide me where I am doing wrong.

Which one : like a stick , or original , like small box ? (original: need connect 3v3 )

Use CubeProgrammer , connect (set: software reset), show pic, what its telling.

STLinkV2 exist in ISOL variant , then 3.3V require to connect...

Next issue maybe is DFU bootloader try change reset behaviour to connect under reset

I am using ST LInk V2, not IOSL, and providing power suing type C USB connector. 

also validated the pins connection, all are fine.

I am using original ST LINK V2 from st.com, yes after connecting the 3V3 to pin 1 of the ST Link, started working with default debug settings.
