Hello!
I have Blue Pill board and ST-LINK/V2 programmer. When I open STM32CubeProgrammer on Windows 10, my ST-LINK is detected properly but nothing happens when clicking on connect. No error messages, nothing. I can click all day and nothing. At the same time if I connect my ST-LINK to an Linux machine, STM32CubeProgrammer connects to my Blue pill without any problems. I have found couple of threads on Google with similar issue, but they seem outdated and are not working for me.
I have tried re-installing JRE multiple times, but nothing changes. I hope you guys could help me, as I am really willing to start learning STM32.

This thread relates to a so-called Blue Pill and a cloned ST-LINK/V2, which uses illegally cloned STM32F103. ST resources are only dedicated to supporting genuine ST products. We are not committed to ensuring that clones/fakes products work properly with the firmware we provide.
We recommend to purchase genuine products from STMicroelectronics and purchase them from known and trusted distributors.
This thread will now be locked. However, if you face difficulties while using genuine ST products, we’re here to assist you. Please feel free to start a new thread, and our team, along with community members, will be ready to help you with any issues/questions you encounter.
Thank you for your understanding.

Does it detect the ST-Link (target voltage, firmware version, serial number)?
Does the UI respond to the clip at all? Can you manipulate other buttons and controls?
Try ST-Link Utility.

Thanks for your answer!
As I wrote in the opening post, ST-LINK is detected - it shows target voltage and Firmware version. Only the Serial Number is weird - it shows only one letter "U". I just tried the ST-Link Utility. It shows much longer serial number and it successfully connects to the target. I guess, I could stick to that, also it would be great to understand what is wrong with the Cube Programmer.

Are you using a knock-off programmer as well? If "ST-LINK is detected properly," which it doesn't quite sound like, see if you can upgrade firmware.
