Hi all,
I am designing a PCB around the STM32H723 and wants to implement 4 bit SD card communication. As shown in the picture it can be done using 3.3V, with lower speeds, and avoiding these fine-pitch level translators. However does anybody have experience with this towards the STM32H7? 12.5 MB/s is to slow for my application, but 25MB/s should be enough.
If there are any sources etc. I would appreciate it!

The STM32H723 also had an internal LDO. Can this one be configured to the SD pins to get 1.8V? Or are external 1.8V level translators needed to achieve SDR25 or SDR50 ... compliant system?

Internal LDO is used to provide power for core.
