Hi,
we use the ST25DV16KC and for development i use the ST25R3911B.
Problem is:
ST25R3911B connected via micro usb to the pc.
so far looks good
Pressing the TAG Editor Button
I just want to read the config:
Pressing Button Read Configuration leads to this:
Same board same chip on my colleagues desk works.
1: What could be the issue?
2: Is there an alternative reader? Suggestion for scripting?
Kind Regards

Hi tunguskar,
the ST25 tag editor provided with ST25R3911B-DISCO GUI is to my knowledge not supporting the latest ST25DV*KC evolution of the products. Might be related to that, but not sure.
Not sure about your result at your colleague. You say everything the same (ST25DV tag, ST25R3911B board, ST25R3911B-DISCO GUI and ST25 Tag editor) - but result is different?

Result is that at leas at my colleagues desk reading is possible. Even though the gui is not compatible with the chip. What else tooling can i use for this NFC chip?

Hi,
STSW-ST25PC001 should fully support ST25DV64KC. I didn't verify but it should also support the ST25R3911B-DISCO board as reader.

Hi Ulysses,
I installed the software, unfortunately it crashes immediately after start. I see a short pop up of the software and than crashes. No report, or where can I find the report normally?
I have windows 11 running version 24H2

Hello,
The Tag Editor from the ST25R3911B-DISCO GUI is based on the CR95HF development software.
This software is no longer maintained and does not support ST25DVxxKC products.
@tunguskar , the crash from the ST25PC-NFC software is caused by missing older MSVC DLLs on newer Windows environment and was thought to be resolved in the recent versions.
If this is not the case, lease download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013
