Mesh Map with NFC?

Can NFC tags be used between one another to create a grid? Or do I need to rely on BLE?

For example, and without extreme accuracy, to understand that tag1 is located in back right corner of a small room. Tag2 is located in back left corner of same 10x10 small room. And that tags 3-10 are in additional locations in the same room. Assuming that each tag is within 1-3 feet of one another.

Thanks,

jan

Hello Jan,

NFC tags are typically passive - not able to communicate with other tags at all. Communication ranges between powered-readers and tags are in the range of few centi-meters.
