VNH3SP30-E 30Amp current

I've used the VNH3SP30-E in numerous applications, but they've all been for motors that draw less than 10 amps.

I have a 12 VDC motor that if run at 100% PWM, will draw 28 to 30 amps.  The data sheet states that this can handle up to 30 amps. I'm wondering if I can indeed get 30 amps continuous current from this motor driver, and if I will need some heat sinking, and how much. 

I could epoxy a heat sink like this one on the chip, like this for example.

Any word on 30A continuous current on this motor driver?

I see 2 reason this driver CAN't handle 30A.

1. Motors usually have stall/ start current, that is x3 - x5 time higher. So 30A translates into >90A start current.

2. Power dissipation, roughtly P = I^2 x R, first page states 45 mOhm, means 30A 'd generates about 40 Wt.

Same time chart 40 draws 10-15 C / Wt, at the max 125 C - 25 ambient it's about 10 Wt, not even close to 40.

Ataching heat think above epoxy case have litttle effect, most power dissipation flow via "belly" of the IC soldered to Cu layer of the PCB.
