Hello,

 

we are searching for a USB PD Power Budgeting/ Load Sharing solution. Here an example:

 

Lets say we have 4 USBC PD Ports. All in all they sould be able to source 60W. One port is sourcing 15V/3A=45W, then the remaining 4 should just be able to source 15W. Does ST have a solution for Load Sharing in its portfolio? When I quick searched all datasheets for the USBC PD Chips i havn't found anything.

Hello,

in the STEVAL-2STPD01, once the input power rate is fixed, the kit is able to balance the power on the two ports, supporting the requests sent by the USB PD devices connected to each port.
