Hello,
I am trying to use one pair of STWLC38 in TX and RX mode each. And here are my questions.
1) I could find the firmware for RX in ST website, but not the firmware for TX. Does the RX firmware include TX configuration as well?
2) When I debug this chip in GUI, the initial mode is 'standalone'. I assume that if I put 5V to VOUT, the chip consider itself in the debug mode. However, to use this chip in TX mode, we have to give 5V input to the VOUT, which is the same way for debug mode. So, should I change the mode of the chip to TX all the time after I power the chip?
Thanks for your attention.

Dear Customer
TX functionality of STWLC38 is not available for Mass Market customer.
Please contact your local ST Marketing team for more info.
If you want TX please use STWBC86
Standalone (or DC mode/debug mode) mode means that STWLC38 is powered externally to Vout/Vrect - this mode is used for FW update.
AC Mode means that STWLC38 is powered from WLC Transmitter - in this case, STWLC38 shall not have be powered from externaly to Vout/Vrect.

Hi,
I learnt about the STWLC38, it has at least two chip revisions, '2' and '3'.
I'd tried to get answer about this issue by contacting to ST sales and disti several times, but I couldn't reach.
Questions
1. What is the difference of the chip revisions?
2. does it need unique software for each revision chip?
3. How to operate rev.2 chip on the PCB which designed with rev.3 chip?
4. What is the history and release schedule for each revision?
Per datasheet, it may take seven chip revisions from 0 to 7.
We've already developed our Wireless charging product with rev.3 chip, it works fine.
But rev.2 chip doesn't work on the identical board above.
Please pilot us to right way...
Kind regards,

2. does it need unique software for each revision chip?
A: Currently our fw on ST website only support rev.3 chip
3. How to operate rev.2 chip on the PCB which designed with rev.3 chip?
A: We only support rev.3 chip now
4. What is the history and release schedule for each revision?
