Well, in addition to the storage temperature range, the data sheet of the STPS5H100AF also contains the maximum operating junction temperature = 175°C and the thermal resistance Rth(j-l) = 16K/W. The maximum operating temperature permissible for the respective design can be calculated from the actual cooling surface of the board, the resulting thermal resistance and the power loss that occurs.
