Hi,
We are using STM6904TWEDS6F. But we are confused with the open-drain status of the RST pin. The pin description states RST is open drain output. But in the AC/DC parameter list of the datasheet specifies the RST w.r.t. VCC. Is it necessary to connect the RST to VCC or can it be connected to any other voltages?
Thanks & Regards,

Welcome, @NM.9, to the community!
I don't see such a reference from RST to VCC in the STM6904 datasheet, maybe you can insert the exact parameter (symbol, description) you mean?
Otherwise, RST works like a normal open drain output, so it can be connected to any voltage that respects the maximum values: -0.3...VCC+0.3V and max output current of 20mA. The data sheet mentions values for VCC from 0.8V upwards.
