Hi,

within the Practispin (Powerspin) system, it can be used the EVALPRACTISPIN (ST7 based controller) PCB and the standard L6208 eval PCB to make a two board microstepping demo.

The Practispin GUI and app notes are readily available on

http://www.st.com

and more specific application notes are dedicated to microstepping concepts. On this subject, please, see AN1495 and AN2044.

Regards,

Tanio

Dear motor99 user,

in

http://www.st.com

by entering the word ''Practispin'' in the Search Keyword box, you will collect a lot of information on this motor drive kit, including the software for PC.

In particular, in this page

http://www.st.com/stonline/products/support/practispin/practispin.htm#sw

there are links for different executables according to ICs you intend to use.

Best regards,

Tanio
