STBC15 wiring of open drain output pins

EC.3
Associate III
Hello,

I see there are two open drain output pins on the STBC15: CHGINOK and PG. If I don’t need to read the CHGINOK and PG status, can they either be left floating or connected to ground, without needing to add an external pullup?

Please confirm if this is the correct understanding.

Thanks

The CHGINOK and PG pins are open drain outputs. If you do not want to query them, you can either let them float or connect them to GND to be on the safe side.

Hope that helps?

Good luck!
