Same issue as @PK.3 (but I would like the response to be shared with the community 😁 ) : using a 4 volt OC 425 mA SC series photovoltaic, and SPV1040 with circuit matching STEVAL-ISV006V2 except Rs = 0 ohms and no VR4 (https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/34/f8/03/2c/c0/39/4b/93/CD00292052.pdf/files/CD00292052.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00292052.pdf).
Note that this schematic is mostly influenced by the design guidance at https://eds.st.com/photovoltaic/
In full daylight, with no load, output will measure about 4.5 volts. With 100 ohm load, output voltage is about 350 mV.
