How to calculate stall thresholds for a given motor?

(Finally got the powerStep01 working)

I have a Vexta PK266-02A stepper motor with has a phase resistance of 3.6Ωs. I am running the driver at 18V, and I am using the SPINFamily Evaluation tool. Whenever I issue a command, I promptly get an overcurrent alarm. Running the powerStep01 with a smaller stepper does not create this problem.

How do I calculate the required parameters given an arbitrary phase resistance at a known VS voltage?

Sigh, there is a wizard in the application. It popped up automatically this time when I ran it. Good stuff ST!
