Hi everyone,
I have to develop a PMDC motor control. The main requirement is themaximum possible efficiency
. Since I'm interested in a one way rotational direction, I thought that a low-side control (chopper) could be a good choice. Am I right? System specification:- 200W PMDC motor; -10A maximum current;-30V supply voltage.Even if I know how to lay down a basic design of a low-side control, I have no experience about choosing components. So, my question is: which MOS, MOS driver and freewheeling diode should I choose to achieve the highest possible efficiency? Are there any other tricks for the efficiency sake? Thanks in advance #motor-driver #dc-chopping #dc-motor-control
