According to your non-disclosure agreement after successfully testing the controller & voltage multiplier cannot be used in released production... Would you have an equivalent to the STEVAL-IHM023V3 & STM32F769NI?

What you mean is not an NDA, but the terms of use. And yes, all of our tools, including the STEVAL-IHM023V3, are only intended for evaluating the respective device and or starting your own development as quickly as possible.

I add the relevant section again here in full:

Notice applicable to Evaluation Boards not FCC-Approved

This kit is designed to allow:

  1. Product developers to evaluate electronic components, circuitry, or software associated with the kit to determine whether to incorporate such items in a finished product, and
  2. Software developers to write software applications for use with the end product.

This kit is not a finished product and when assembled may not be resold or otherwise marketed unless all required FCC equipment authorizations are first obtained. Operation is subject to the condition that this product not cause harmful interference to licensed radio stations and that this product accept harmful interference. Unless the assembled kit is designed to operate under part 15, part 18 or part 95 of 47 CFR, Chapter I (“FCC Rules?), the operator of the kit must operate under the authority of an FCC license holder or must secure an experimental authorization under part 5 of this chapter.

So you are cordially invited to try out the kit extensively and to develop your software for it, but you have to derive and produce your own hardware from it in order to sell it as a final product.

Does it fully answer your question?

Good luck!

Hi Peter,

In Summary, ST does not offer Production solutions but evaluation kits for software engineering applications?

If we are talking about STEVAL, DISCOVERY, NUCLEO and similar kits, then that's right, yes.

Or more specifically that the project is staffed at your end with SW / HW engineers capable of developing a commercial/production solution, that meets and passes certification testing, etc
