Hi,

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on how to successfully connect the TMC5160 Plus (BigTreeTech) stepper motor driver board and an STM32 ( I have the Nucelo F446RE)? I have tried SPI but can't get a clear signal back.

You mean this: https://global.bttwiki.com/TMC5160TPlus.html#marlin-firmware-settings ?

Have you contacted BigTree for support: https://support.biqu3d.com/hc/en-us ?

What, exactly, have you tried?

How to write your question to maximize your chances to find a solution

Do you have a clear definition of the TMC5160's SPI mode and its requirements ?

Have you used an oscilloscope and/or logic analyser to confirm that you are meeting those requirements ?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
