Hi There,
After using the eDesignSuite to design a 25V (CV / HPF / PSR) using the HVLED001, we found some discrepancies between the eDesignSuite proposed circuit and the HVLED001 typical HPF / PSR / CV circuit on page 16 of the datasheet. Especifically on:- components connected to pin ZCD- the place where RtOff connects (between Cs, RS on eDesignSuite and pin FB on datasheet)- zener on clamper (datasheet) -> no zener on eDesignSuiteWhich one is right? We really need help on this since we must do the PCB prototypes ASAP.Best Regards, #hvled001 #edesignsuite #datasheet- Labels:

Hello Pedro,
could you export your design from eDesignSuite and send it to us? The application engineer responsible for this device could have a look and verify if everything is correct. In the meanwhile, you could read this new application note, with a lot of explanations about the HVLED001A applicationsBest regards,Patrizia- Mark as New

Hi There Patrizia,
Please find attached the files (from eDesignSuite) of the power supply we are currently designing so that you can check the discrepancies. Thanks in advance. ________________ Attachments : ps_257.prj : https://st--c.eu10.content.force.com/sfc/dist/version/download/?oid=00Db0000000YtG6&ids=0680X000006HzEd&d=%2Fa%2F0X0000000bIg%2FlBUorFv_a0LdhmqSfdEPJYXamwKx4rIOEn6o0i3MgHw&asPdf=false- Mark as New

Hi Pedro,
the design and the schematic from your project are correct. We found a small error in the schematic, the GND is missing on the secondary, but we'll fix it in the next release. We suggest you to review the values of input capacitor and filter during the debug phase of the prototype, but for the rest you can follow the BOM and the schematic you created with eDesignSuite.Best regards,Patrizia- Mark as New

Thanks for the support Patrizia. The value of the coupling capacitor between aux ground and secondary ground is also missing.

Hi There Patrizia,
While selecting components for the prototype a doubt arose. The Cclp Polypropylene (PP) 150pF capacitor rated 400V on BOM should be 400VDC ou 400VAC? Because when selecting capacitors a 400VDC is usually only 250VAC. Does 400V mean 400VAC or 400VDC?Best Regards,Pedro Pereira- Mark as New

Hello Pedro,
the capacitor voltage ratings are expressed in VDC.Best regards,Patrizia- Mark as New
